1958 has a "ddo" which is a shadow on the right side of the lower loop. If I recall correctly, it's now considered a product of engraving rather than hubbing. They're a little harder to find than the 1955 poor man's doubled die.
@Deniss222 Below is a picture of a 1958 DDO. Here's a stupid question, but I will give you a little help with the answer. Does the cent you photographed in your opening post look like the photo below?
Hint: the answer begins with an "n" and ends with an "o"!
Your welcome.

Weren't two found this past year? The "real" ones as pictured above, not minor varieties.
There was? I did quick search over last year and all the articles were discussing the coin and talking about Stack's offering 1 of them but I don't see any new ones found. A woman found a new 1969-s DDO a few months ago, might be what you are thinking of.

And where do you see doubling? I sure don't see any.
What does it match on coppercoins.com?

@divecchia You beat me to it.
That one is hard to mistake for anything else.
Weren't all of these actual DDO's in the hands of one family, whose patriarch had been a mint employee? Has a 1958 DDO ever been found in the wild?

Not the DDO... as the other posts show.... looks like die fatigue to me... Cheers, RickO
