Was it part of multinational satanic prank orchestrated by Danish art gallery Kund Langkow's?
I wouldn't be interested in such a coin.
I wonder what the smaller denomination ones from 1902 were
Hehhhhemm, Devil tokens
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
I have some of the 1954 Canadian notes with the 'Devil in Hair' somewhere.
There is more than enough real hellish crap going on in this world that a 1973 devil coin is laughable. And the background is boringly empty. Peace Roy

Is this a token or an actual coin that can be spent at a store?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Neither would I but I see many coins here that I wouldn't be interested in but I don't feel it necessary to point this out for every coin that I see here that I don't like.

Interesting !!!
@PerryHall ...No, not an actual spending coin....more like a token....I would like one since it is certainly a weird and unusual one with a story. Cheers, RickO

@PerryHall ... @ricko
I'm only participating in the thread.
I'm sorry if my reply offended you.
I'm not offended. I'm just concerned that you are offending the devil and I'd hate to see anything bad to happen to you.

@PerryHall... That would never be a concern for me..... Cheers, RickO

I mentioned this in another thread but several years ago I bought on eBay an AU55 Liberty gold $5 in an old small ANACS slab with the serial number 666666. You could say that the devil made me do it.

While I am not a slab collector.... I would have bought a slab with that number...Cheers, RickO
There are those like the Sovereign with St. George killing the dragon, positive message there.
I wouldn't want a devil coin, dangerous realm. http://www.fanboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/twilight-zone-mystic-seer.jpg
What was funny is the eBay seller really hyped the serial number. A forum member here made a post about it with a link to that auction because of the unusual 666666 serial number otherwise I would have missed it. I already had several Liberty half eagles so I didn't really need the coin but I really wanted that slab so I made a high bid. When the auction was over I discovered I won at a price that a regular AU common date Liberty half eagle would have brought. The seller and I communicated about the unusual serial number and he said that he was very disappointed with the results but he did honor his commitment to sell it at the winning bid.

I kept thinking that devil dude looked familiar and then I found where I think he got his inspiration. This is a 1973 Norway 5 Ore, the stylized lion appears on other Norwegian coins around this time, usually on a shield.
Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.
