Are there any differences in the size of coins held by the green and blue PCGS storage boxes?

Nope.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I have noticed that some of my blue PCGS boxes will hold the newest slabs and some won’t. I am only referring to the first and last slots in each box.
Anyone else see that.
Some of my boxes work fine. Not all.

Been there, seen that. You'll just have to put them in the box out of order to get around it.
Have also seen that with OGB Old Green Boxes.
I have been using my old Teletrade boxes since Pcgs went to new size as they hold all types. Wish somebody would make plastic one like those TTR boxes! When they do they will make a lot of money.
I found that the old slabs fit, they just have to be turned around backwards. Not ideal. But seriously I am using PCGS boxes for a PCGS slab, it should fit, right???

I actually purchased a couple of these for special storage.... Cheers, RickO

You need the newer box for the newer slab. They increased the size for the end slots. The issue is the newer slab is thicker and the prongs, which clear on the 18 middle slots, do not on the end. I have been getting newer boxes for the sets that have a new holder in the first slot.
This issue came up during the PCGS lunch at the ANA a few years ago.
Thanks. That must be the case. I bought 4 cases eBay about a month ago. Must have been the older style (didn’t know there was a old vs new). Hmm. Well, I will have to see how much I care about this. I will have to flip them around for now.
Thanks!

@NGS428 If you have older slabs, put one in the first slot, one in the last slot and fill the rest of the PCGS boxes up with whatever. That is what I do, it isn't perfect but it gets the job done.
Are the boxes marked in any way?
Not that I know of, but if you look at them you can tell the first/last slots are larger
This is true. The newest slabs will not go in the 1st and last slot of an older box. And will not go in any slot of an ngc box.
