I just marked a discussion by clicking on the open star. It turned blue! I waited a while and it was still blue. Then I clicked on the blue star and it turned to the original open image. Then I clicked it again and it turned the "expected" color brown.
Cool, anyone have this happen? I want the blue star back. ![]()

Hey, when you move the pointer hand over a brown star it turns blue as long as the cursor is on it!
You must have magic powers and your cpu is sluggish. Yes the star has 3 stages and it works fine. The blue 2nd stage is momentary for me on my kindle fire. Peace Roy

...your my boy Blue!
I guess its a slow day on the Forum...
Look - outside - a squirrel!
I hesitate to ask ... but again ... besides turning pretty colors ... does it actually do anything? Maybe if you click it and the Promote button and then click your golden slippers together you can turn lead into gold.
Kind regards
George
I'm getting cranky so I hesitate to answer... Kind Regards.
@Insider2 ...would you take me to where the star is?
I like to click & see
I see the star, I believe it is to bookmark a thread.... Not a detail I worry about, however, @Insider2 , thanks for calling attention to it...Now I have confirmed what I thought it was...
Cheers, RickO
Based on your settings, If you have it starred you will get an email every time someone posts to that thread.
It's at the end of each post. It turns brown when you click it and that "bookmarks" the discussion. Every one you do that to is saved in "My Bookmarks." That way you can easily refer to them in the future.
I'm afraid to click on it.
Either it will blow up or my visit count will go up by 1000.
