RIP Richard Harrison "Old Man" from Pawn Stars has passed. Post your Pawn find here

I love the Show Pawn Stars that has been airing for several years now. The tiny shop in Los Vegas is full of collectables and it is fair to say most of us here on the Forum could literally spend a full day at the shop.
I have never been to that shop but did pick up this Modern coin to remember the old man.
RIP

I have never purchased a coin from a pawn shop, but I do like seeing coins they sell in that store. Most of the time it's when they are coming back from commercial and the camera is just showing a bunch of different items. Don't think I have seen one where someone brings in a coin to pawn or sell. I'm sure there have been some though.
Will Chumley get a promotion?
He was my favorite character on the show.
We walked to there from the strip one day, that was almost more fun than the pawn shop. None of the celebs were there. Got to talk to some nice locals, ha ha. Shop was ok, but jumped into a cab that was sitting there for the ride back.
Sad to hear about his passing. I actually have one of those rounds with him on it. It was apparently purchased from that very shop.

I always thought one of these years I re-visit LV and stop by to see the family....
The only person on the show with any class. RIP fellow veteran.
ill miss the old man for sure. rip old timer
The "three squares a day with an hour of open air in the yard" promotion.
I believe that Chumley avoided all that, so long as he keeps his nose clean for another twelve months or so.
here's one i got from the old man's pawn shop junk silver bin:
I'll miss the Old Man, I had a lot of respect for him, probably because he was NAVY and Proud of it, he also was a Snappy Dresser too, and all the stuff he liked, I Liked, RIP Sailor

I liked him, he was my favorite on the show
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
I was surprised to learn the "old man" was just 77. I thought he was that old when the show began years ago.
RIP
He was the best character on that show. I loved it when he was taking a catnap!

The Old Man was my age, and former Navy.... I have often wondered if maybe our paths crossed while in service.... I would like to know where he served etc.. Should have inquired a couple years ago when I thought of it....Heck, we may have gone through boot camp together...RIP Old Man... RickO
WOW! Talk about your major disappointment! I feel bad for the guy but really...what are the chances? I think it's just amazing she found a barber dime in the yard in general!
Curmudgeons everywhere are in awe of his legacy
