Has anyone ever seen Ebay at a coin show before?

Just curious.

I see they have a few tables at the World's Fair of Money in Philly.

Back 10 years ago, or so, they used to be fairly active on the coin show circuit. They were at Long Beach, as I recall.

    Not much anymore, though.....

I did not know ebay ever had a table at coin shows...How did that work?? Does ebay have their own coins? Or were they showing coins for sellers on their computer? Cheers, RickO

I think it was just an advertising booth, not actually sowing coins.

I have seen them at shows in the past. I just don't remember where or when.

As noted, it was more of a marketing thing. Trying to drum up listings and sellers. They had a few computers you could search on, and I seem to recall they ran some seminars on "How To" topics as well.

I saw them at the Portland ANA in 1998. Signed up with them the next year.

They were at the PNG Banquet
last year at the Denver ANA,
(I sat at the same table, and had
    some nice conversations with them)

.....and were there almost the whole
week; don't know if they had a
table, but they do appear at major
    shows to promote their platform.

Do you have to give them 10% of your billfold to approach their altar?
