1971 quarter DDO

There may be doubling above the letters on this quarter I always thought that automatically ment it's machine doubling am I wrong or right about that. Here are the pictures it's much easier to on the scope but take a look thanks for everyone help

That's a scratch - probably a circular scratch from a counting machine.
Have you got your Cherrypicker's Guide yet?
No, I don't see doubling. I do see what looks to be like a circular scratch though.

Just because there is a line/gouge across a letter does not mean it is doubling.....
Most likely damage from a coun rolling machine.
