So I recently bought a wheat back toner off eBay that was labeled genuine. I understand the reasoning of the lable, but as a collector how does that effect your opinion on a coin? Could I possibly send a genuine lavled coin off and it get a different label.

Genuine means the coin has problems. What different lable would you want or expect?
Yes if the label says , genuine, that means the coin has problems and will not receive a numerical grade.
Mine was labeled genuine due to " questionable color". So I was just curious on if someone else took a look at it if it would get labled the same. And I was wondering how it impacts collectors when buying coins.

It will bring less money than a no problem graded coin.
I think Questionable Color" code .91 only happens with copper coins. I have a number of IHC proof coins that were returned with this designation, and without exception they were all RD coins. Probably not original RD surfaces. So, I shifted to collecting IHC proof that are BN or RB. And the ones that I submit as an RB or BN coin mostly always grade.
If you think that you can buy RD coins RAW you will have limited sucess. Please post some pics.

genuine is another way of saying the coin is authentic.

I prefer rb and bn as well but this got actually got a bn. I'm thankful for the information. I'll just stay away from those labels and I'll be posting it shortly
Yes, it's very dependent on the coin's appearance.
Something grossly mistreated likely would continue to get Genuine grades, regardless of the TPG, and likely would have a very limited market.
However, some coins that have great eye appeal, and 'COULD" be original, MIGHT when resubmitted get a numerical grade, or at the very least could still have relatively strong market demand. I'm guessing some of OldIndianNutKase's coins that are classed as genuine still look pretty good and would sell fairly easily with some discounting.
You bought a "problem" coin and now someone else's problem has become your problem. Now you have to start worrying about whether you should try to resubmit the coin, pay the fees and hope for the best (and the "best" probably won't happen.)
You will get some recommendations when you post pictures... Depending on the issue, it may be correctable... Cheers, RickO
If it says "Genuine" only it means that someone checked that box rather than "Genuine with Details" or "Do not holder Genuine" on the form when they submitted. This option only applies if the coin cannot receive a numerical grade (problem coin).
