1943 S Steelie RPM..? S/S/S SW

The last loops in the S at the end looks to be split? With the tail of another s joining into it at sw. I checked the big 3 reference sites and no such luck. I am not referring to the ghosting or strike doubling. Just to what I described. Side note when I was searching online a few or more of the listings strongly resembled strike doubling to me... Is that just me or are some of those actually RPM's ( Maybe this is just a whole lot of damage or a very well placed hit) Thank you for everyone's thoughts.

Looks like secondary strikes are to the right and down. But what do I know. Peace Roy

There is some machine doubling on the date, however, the MM does look like an RPM... Cheers, RickO
I can't tell if it's notching on the bottom serif or a soft hit. The rest looks like machine doubling.
Looks like notching on the serif. It is an RPM.
Pete
OP, did you go to lincolncentresource or varietyvista to identify which rpm?
I checked douboed die.com copper coins and variety vista, only resource I did not check was lilcolncent. Agreed on the machine doubling Aka strike doubling I knew that at least! It sure looks similar to a split seriff but as you all stated I am unsure my self if it took a soft hit
Talk about a lot of crap spelling. Sorry everyone my keyboard on my phone does not agree with my thumb's often
Compare it to this one, which I had posted here previously:
Similar enough to be related?
Pete
Strikingly similar although I did a over lay and they do not match up. I originaly thought they were struck from the same die just a different stage. My mm seems to be a bit higher up north and closer the the 9 then tour's. The mint mark's are very similiar but not the same? I will post a pic of a side by side as the over lay is tought to see and a quick scrappy program on my phone.
I could not see any marker's to match up either from both our coin's
