2016 $1 AES "MAGA" privy selling for a premium?

KnellKnell Posts: 456 ✭✭✭✭✭

Is there any reason why this is selling for a premium. It was claimed as having a "MAGA" privy which looks to me that it was printed into the coin. Does the privy marking needs to be stamped on a coin or printed? Thanks for the opinion and/or comments.

Collectable "stuff". It can be in whatever format the promoter wants it to be.

If they had counterstamped it onto the coin at least it might have appealed to counterstamp collectors.

I have no idea what that silver round is supposed to represent.... I do understand MAGA...Just not all the other information, tab, holder or whatever all that stuff is.... For me, that is 'walk on by' material... Cheers, RickO

Seems to be from Scottsdale Mint.
It’s just a SAE with a sticker on it. I’d pay spot.

I’d pay a dollar under spot and then melt it, but that’s just me.

Considering most true auctions on ebay bring over $30 that sounds like a bad business decision, even if you aren't a fan of it.

Not for me it was something like If you scan the QR you can see that coin being put in the holder.

    Hoard the keys.
