Help ,Is it A scratch or is it A Punch Mark ?

In My opinion A scratch would leave lines and shavings on the side which would fall off. This looks like A punch mark like when You would step in Mud and it smush out the sides. And the texture flows with the rest of the coin . it also stops right on the edge . what do think Scratch or Punch. Thank You Very Much for Your Opinions. But if it is A punch this would be one of A Kind . I see $$$$ I hope LOL

Close examination reveals a furrow created by and object with enough force to move metal above the normal surface features where some of the high spots show the furrow edges worn down. To me, this is a PMD scratch.

Well, clearly you know what you see as you explain it so well so I don’t understand why you’d waste your time asking the no-nothings on this forum.

Aside from the fact that it's scratched,
am I blind that I don't see any shape
that looks like an "A" on the reverse?

I can see the Noose around the Eagles Neck,
I just can't see the "A" that is in the title of the post.

If it was a scratch on the die the line would be raised, not incused.
