    Perfectly believable. :o

I know that when I roll cents I always happen to accidentally include a silver dime or Civil War token - on the end no less. ;)

Sure, put a couple of problematic (silver) dimes on the ends and call it good!.

You better hurry...approx. six hours remain until this STEAL gets a new home.

    I don't see this.
Most offer no returns if opened. Most offer money back if unopened. Most have very good feedback. I look at the rolls every day and know most of those that sell them. They are put together in the most part and as stated and are usually not worth the time you took to view the auction. But, your feedback comment is not correct in my opinion.

If the seller wants more $$$...place a gold coin on the end. At least I think that I have seen that before.

I REALLY wish that ebay would put a stop to this sort of BS. I can't search for regular unc rolls of dollars anymore without 90% of listings being BOGUS listings of CROOKS using "old" carson city or defunct bank wrappers with old documents or checks in the background claiming to have found them in some old lady's brother's uncle's storage locker who used to be a bank teller casino owner. Give us a break with this crap and make your money honestly and not by trying to scam on ebay.

Yes, exactly. A bank that closed in the teens somehow rolled dollars with a mechanical method that was not invented until at least a decade later. When you ask a seller how that is possible you get no reply (how could they?).

This auction is not on eBay.

Yes, this isn't on Ebay but I'm sure that it happens there, too.

Not too long ago a seller was wrapping these shotgun rolls with a BU CC silver dollar on one end and another BU Morgan, date side up(usually dated 1878-85), on the other end. He used old paper wrappers imprinted with bank names from Colorado and Nevada. I think "Bullion and Exchange Bank" was one of them. The rolls were offered on private auction sites other than Ebay (Proxibid) and were offered without return privilege. They all sold in the thousands of dollars, anyway. The other 18 coins might not have even been BUs. They could have even been Ikes.
