**Samples for the Weekend**

After reading and re-reading @Lakesammman threads on Samples, I didn't think I would have the chance to find a example containing a Silver Washington 25c piece. Well I was wrong...
Sample has correct number for a 1964 Washington quarter, but the coin is a 1964-D. I am very happy with this latest purchase, although I will need to find another with the correct coin... :#

Sample 4.9

1964 w1964-D 25c

Who is apparently unloading his collection - admittedly some very rare samples, but lots of pedestrian ones - at premium prices. It will be interesting to see if the market holds these advances.

I have been watching him/her myself, some rare stuff but priced on the super high side. The error cent he had, I had in my cart and bam. Someone bought it..

anyone here buy the error sample on eBay last week? 2004 error NGC cent. from an error seminar they put on at a bigger show. It was an off center or Broad strike of some sort. Really cool. I just missed it.

I did buy his double PCGS sample holder, war cent & nickel . And looking at a couple others, he is lowering his prices, albeit slowly.

    I agree, prices seem high,(compared to others I've won/purchased).
I see this as an opportunity to add examples to my collection and have no intent to sell at any point soon...

I've been judiciously filling in hard-to-fill holes instead of heading off in new direction!

Not the same price, he's asking $130 More than what I paid.
