1897 Indian Head Cent 1 in neck

jesbrokenjesbroken Posts: 10,467 ✭✭✭✭✭

I bought this coin several years back along with 7 others out of a junk box. Never looked at them until last night and found this little G4 IHC. I believe it to be the 1897 IHC 1 in the neck, but I've been wrong before. Opinions, please.

Not worth much, but a neat find nevertheless. Thanks for your comments.

You should start a thread on "Junk Box Finds" . I do not remember ever buying from a junk box, but I am sure that there are great stories like yours.

I got lucky, just looked at with my loupe and there it was. I felt no doubt it was the one(in the neck). I no longer collect IHC's, but that's how lady luck does.
