    Umm nice coin looks like some one may have used something on it. But a nice coin for a type book.

    Thank you. I belive that may be the case or was in a album for some time? The reverse has the image of being cleaned at one point in time. Would these be rim cuds? On the same coin.

    Yes now if that was a 1888 it would be a big winner. What is the date on that coin?

    It would be this 1888/7 and worth a pretty penny.

    Here is one of my favorite Indian cents in my collection. It has powder blue toning and I have never seen another like it.

    The '03 definitely appears to have been cleaned, and then retoned, probably naturally, over
    a long period of time (although I understand there are some really good doctors out there, so who knows).
    It doesn't look bad for an album coin, but would likely slab genny if submitted.

    I believe the coin would slab if submitted....Though not a coin I would purchase, it does look market acceptable. Cheers, RickO
