At What Price Point
At what price point do you consider a coin worth sending in to PCGS? if your coins are already graded, at what price point do you consider sending them to CAC?

A lot to think about, if I bought them right If I have more then 100 and will grade over MS65 or if I like it one or two will not kill me, I don't have a price point I have a I like point. But CAC I don't need it not a must for me. In a holder I like no one can get to it only if they crack it but then I would know, Just me dumb Type2 wasting $$$$.
Hoard the keys.
$300-$1500.
$300 up and any chinese coin im looking to resell.
Since I collect coins, and do not sell coins, price point is not a consideration. Cheers, RickO
$200 raw before it gets sent in.......
CAC no so much at all.

As a collector of a certain age I put everything in plastic both for storage/protection and ultimate liquidity. This infrequently includes some very old foreign coins or coins of sentimental value that would be silly to slab for purely economic reasons. For CAC, only coins above $250, for economic reasons, but very occasionally of lesser value for educational reasons.
Probably around 100-150 for TPG. Sometimes less if I need one more to fill required number for slab bus.
CAC is more of a subjective add on - I would say over 300-500 plus value over BV. Generic Saints close to BV - no - just pick out nice coins sight seen. Any CAC coin has additional costs which have to be applied to the markup equation and recovered by the business. In addition buyers will not buy it if they don’t like coin. Other buyers will not pay premium for CAC period. I would check the CAC bid in the CDN vs the non CAC bid to even c if there is enough of a material difference to justify the time /expense. On really big ticket material this can be substantial but remember y gotta find da guy gonna pay da money! Bottom line CAC is like the LS Customs Mod Shop in GTAO. For a $2.5 M super car I bought yes. For a car farmed or ripped off street to sell at $17 k every game day no.
Remember we are in a steadily down / stagnant market! What’s wrong w a nice PCGS 69 Mexico 1oz Silver Onza within 10 - 12 bucks over BV? Now that’s coin collecting!
I am a bidder on CAC material if get at my price.
I send in coins that I believe will CAC. Since I'm not a dealer, I don't have a specific price point. But generally above $100-200.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
Mostly gold....>$5000 @1Mike1and a few silvers to go along. They charge $32 ship to Hawaii
My coin's value has to be above $200 for me to send it to the TPG's. Anything lower than that doesn't make financial sense.
Successful BST transactions with lordmarcovan, Moldnut, erwindoc
$400 works for me in this case
$350 - the number, like PCGS's fees, gets higher each year.
When the difference between CAC and non CAC bid substantial I would be very motivated.
