May was a slow month for silver, and I had to take a vacation to Florida in order to find any.

    1 Silver Democrat dime
    1 Silver Washington quarter
    Honorable mention: 1891 nickel

@pocketpiececommems...That is an excellent month total for coins.. You did not specify any silver... which is unusual.... Good luck in June... Cheers, RickO

I feel like I’ve been skunked. Went detecting with my buddy a few days ago and he pulled three large cents. Fortunately I was able to get one. Then as we were going to the car he pulls out an 1827 capped bust half dollar!! That’s my year so far... watching everyone else pull out cool old silver coins.

Wow.. that is great ... and a great site for old coins... I would say a return trip to that area should certainly be on the schedule... Cheers, RickO
