Still has metal-flow marks evident near the clip
Was this a CRH find? Nice one!
Not in the wild. I buy wheat cents in bulk from a dealer near by and usually snag a RPM or two. Hell this little guy came along with 3 RPM'S out of that batch
Very nice, the diagnostics show well even though the coin is well worn.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

I actually have a smaller clip on a modern nickel. The rims are just barely broken.
The OP's cent is a fantastic piece for education and will help them prepare for finding and authenticating other clips. From the excellent pics we see the way the rims are tapered and how the edge appears. These are all classic signs of a clip and can't easily be accurately forged.
The only thing that is missing is the Blakesly effect (weakness on the opposite side of the coin due to lack of offsetting collar support in the area of the clip), due to the clip being so small.
