I figure I'll do a 13 set of these gold coins. So far so good, I think :) Please do tell me your thoughts on this quarter eagle. Some subtle color to go along with it that I find somewhat attractive.
Thanks, Joe

I'm not a tone guy, but I love gold even with a little toning. :+1::+1:

    Nice pickup. Donato

    If I get a Donato I’m happy.
    Thank you

Great looking coin with original surfaces and rich golden color. I love this series since it's the only classic gold series that can be completed by someone who isn't wealthy. Every other classic gold series has at least one very expensive coin. What did you mean when you said "do a 13 set of this gold coins"? There are 15 coins in this set.

I’m doing just the double eagle, the eagle and the two Indians that I have now. I also have many, many other 1913 US coins.
    Thanks

Oh. You're doing a birth year set. Gotcha. ;)

Thanks :) I find the design very attractive. I do believe, clarkbar, Jeremy, has one in the same date & grade that I find more attractive than this one but he won’t part with it. I can’t blame him for that. Maybe he’ll post it here.
    Thanks again, Joe

@crazyhounddog...I really like your gold Indian... there appears to be a smudge on the slab, but the coin has great detail. As I have said, this design is a favorite of mine.. though I do prefer the larger $5 coin... Cheers, RickO
