Re: New 35% tariff/duty on sports cards from Canada to US on 8/28?
That tariff isn't about your 100 dollar card.
It's there because foreign goods are being routed through Canada. Sometimes being rebranded then shipped in to the US.
There are or were a bunch of companies in Canada who did nothing but flipped Chinese goods to the US. Buying up supply and raising the price on the stuff we need.
The tariff makes it so now that profit goes to the US government. Instead of it going to some random Canadian company. It also creates a margin so US companies can compete in markets that were dying in this country. It remains to be seen if anybody here is going to use that margin and pick up the slack.
You could just look at it like, those card just gained a lot of value. Now they're worth 135. heh

Re: American Liberty High Relief 2025
The COA is very cool looking.
It looks better and personal in the photos. Striking COA.
Well done.

Re: American Liberty High Relief 2025
It is a very beautiful coin indeed.
It is hard to look at this and think of how much it costs. Like everyone i'm sure not used to paying this for a 1 ounce gold coin from the mint.
I really enjoy these coins in their original packaging.
I may just break down and grade this one quickly.Because it looks perfect. And I think it may be a winner so probably worth the hassle and expense hopefully to get a 70.
I do really enjoy them in the original packaging and hate grading these things but, it sure worked for my V75 AGE.

Thank you @lilolme
I believe I got them all edited in.
If you notice anything missing let me know.
I glanced down through it and saw one thing. It appears that my screen shot was copied into the OP.
This would be for the 50c.
The first 50c with the star has the links.
But then there is a second 50c just below it (without the star) and it appears to be the screen shot as it is duplicated information and the blue links are not active. So need to delete it the image. It looks like this below:
Also I did not mention it but on the Franklin Lover's link there are two now near the top of 50c category. I should have said to add descriptive text (my bad). Could delete the first one that does not have the descriptive text after it. Or delete the one that looks like:

Re: GTG for a Draped Bust Half Dime
I am not familiar with pricing on these but will guess that the price is in line with grade on holder. I will only say this. I would guess far better than 90% of certified coins sell within 10% (higher or lower) of their suggested value no matter what the coin in the holder looks like.
I don't even make note of the fact anymore when I see a dull, lifeless coin with weak details sell for strong AU money while in the exact same auction (sometimes very next coin) is a CH-45 with way better details and wonderful luster that sells for much less. Way too many people buy numbers on plastic without regard to the actual coin for this trend to end any time soon. James
