They seem to be consistently over exposed and yellow.
What is just so disappointing is that PCGS doesn’t seem to care. This is a wholly solvable problem so why not solve it? I would venture to guess that if this was on the PSA side of the business there would have been more action.

@winesteven - It just happened to me at NGC... Yesterday I received an email from the NGC Registry saying another user tried to add a coin registered to me. I haven't sold anything in a very long time, and certainly not a coin from my "Best Presented Set" of late date large cents. The email provided links to either accept or reject the transfer. I went the 'reject' route...

The tiering of a collection: My attempt at visualizing my collection in concentric circles
I often have thought of my collection as a series of concentric circles.
The inner circle the "Core" of the collection. Sell on coin and you are in effect abandoning the set. They are the "Pillars" holding up the structure.
The second circle are exceptional coins. Special and generally irreplaceable still but are not those which define the set.
The Third circle are the amplifiers which give depth to the set as a whole.
The Fourth and final circle fill in the collection to give further depth and completeness to the story being told.
Here is my mornings attempt at visualizing my set.

This is one I bought for my birthyear set. Cheap wood but nice display with slots for the slabs.

Nothing else is going on. As evidenced by the fact that they repriced prior years to the same level.
They just saw what happened in the secondary market last year, when people snapped them up at $33.25 in anticipation of grabbing the last cents, and then saw the secondary market skyrocket. The new Mint Director, who comes from the world of TV telemarketing, seemingly decided that the Mint should get in on the action.
Rather than making them to demand, or giving people a decent flip. As a result, they will be making them to significantly reduced demand, because they are not going to sell out 190K at $124.50 on an annual basis.
They are just going to drive away people like you. And then people looking for a flip, when they realize there isn't one.
And then everyone else, because very few are going to tolerate at 2100% markup to face value on base metal uncirculated coins, in the hope that two zinc cents priced at around $50 each are going to hold their value when they don't circulate and don't contain precious metal, just because there are "only" 190,000 of them. Not found in the wild, but bought directly from the Mint at a 500,000% markup to face value.

I just got a box of 1776~2026 Half Dollars from my Credit Union. I'm asking $22 per OBW roll. The box has 14 rolls of REV/REV for the ender coins. The other 37 rolls are OBV/REV or OBV/OBV for the ender coins. Shipping will be added for each order.
