Re: What would you consider as average percentage premium for a Toner?
I have paid about 10X for some really nice already slabbed. Like these.

Re: Upcoming New 7th Edition of Cherrypickers’ Guide - Changes!
hi all- we are working hard to release a new edition of Cherrypicker this year. The idea is to merge the 3 editions into a single volume. In some ways this would be an interim step of consolidating with a new layout/format and then inviting user input for proper additions and deletions. I personally feel the CP has lost its way over the years and there are too many varieties that aren't adding value and obvious misses. I am, however, not the editor of the book. We are working with Noal White to help us organize and edit this next edition so he will be point of contact. If you don't know him, shoot an email to editor@greysheet.com and we will get your input to him. thank you! John

Yes, you were probably bidding against me at GC….

Re: Anyone want to share their new purchases?
It took a while to find one that I like enough to pay as much as it took to get it; thanks, GC!
I kind of like what appears to be a prominent die crack through the date.

Re: The Official NGC 3.0 Holder Census Thread Updated April 24, 2026
Great idea and effort!
Here’s one that probably isn’t on the list as it hasn’t seen the light of day in 20 years:

I’m not sure about this one, as it’s in the SDB, along with some others, that I’ll need to check someday.

Here's a fun one, an encapsulation error!

Re: My latest NEWP for the 12pc gold set ~ 1905 QE
Thanks everybody!
And I agree that type two dollar is gonna be brutal!
If I never succeed, at least I do have an example. It’s just a 58 though and I’m keeping it regardless because it’s such a nice example…

Re: What would you consider as average percentage premium for a Toner?
I would deduct value. I generally prefer my coins without rust.
