Re: The Collaborative "Virtual 7070" Type Set Project
Got a quarter in change today. I had no idea how close the Mayflower Compact reverse is to the Pilgrim commem.

Re: Saturday morning coffee with coins
Just received back from grading. There are 5 known 75 Very Wide CCs, or as T$ fanatics fondly refer to it, 75-c c.
Depending how one feels about chopmarks, this is the the finest known of those five. It's certainly the highest graded as there are three details coins and one VF30. This is the only known chopmarked example.

Re: BU Roll Market Perking Up.
I hear what you’re saying I guess I’m lucky because I have an LCS that purchases lots of mint sets from walk-in customers and they don’t check them very hard because I found silver dollars and tokens inside of some of them not to mention I scored that 86P Kennedy MS68 from there.
Roughly every 3 to 5 months they’ll have a large box to sell me and they sell at good prices and it still comes up around $2000.
Re: Anyone want to share their new purchases?
The package that arrived this week (from the same collection as all the others) had 3 coins in it. The Doily CBH, the Doily Gold Dollar and this beauty. The Type 1 DE completes my Liberty DE set. I had a 64+ CAC Shipwreck coin but hated the large holder and the fact it was cleaned/conserved. This one is very original. Just another old holder, Gold CAC gold coin.
