ANSWER POSTED - Your opinion on the grade and colorful surface of this 1860 Indian cent?
Tough to capture decent images that more or less accurately depict the color, but it seems pretty close on my monitor:

Re: My turn.
Wow. Sorry to hear. But even before the magnet, that one didn't look good (at least from your images).

Snagged this Craig in the Topps tent at the draft
Picked up this Ham today at the Next Up Card show in Pittsburgh

If the steriods were taken to help heal an injury faster and get the player back in the game quicker and healthier, I am all for it (assuming under a doctors supervision). Or... just like the SNL skit, have the all drug olympics
That's what McGwire said he was doing. It was an accident he gained 40 lbs of muscle.
Re: Best Players 1955-1980
I also want to mention Joe Torre again. He is criminally underrated as a player. From 1963 to 1974 he was an 9x all-star, MVP, Gold Glove, and a Batting Title. During this period, he hit .302, 225 home runs, 1042 RBIs while playing catcher and third base.
Bob Watson, Manny Sanguillen, Ralph Garr, George Scott, Ken Singleton, and Richie Zisk also should be mentioned if not already.
I used to play this baseball sim (Out of the Park), where you could run historical simulations. Playing that game helped give me an appreciation for players like the ones mentioned in this thread.
