Re: The tiering of a collection: My attempt at visualizing my collection in concentric circles
Funny, I tried generating a similar image of my coin collection using AI and this is what it spit out.

Hi Ken.
Thanks for the compliment. It is the first known doubled die that was double struck.
New discoveries are exciting.
Many find their way to me by themselves. But I also search for unique and spectacular mint errors through my website, and magazine (Mint Error News). Fortunately I only need to attend the ANA, FUN, Long Beach and PCGS shows.

Another addition for my IHC Complete Variety Set:

The 1903 S-7 is another obscure 2* variety of similar status to the 1901 S-19 posted above. Unlike the S-19, I already did have a S-7 (graded PCGS 62BN).
This NEWP is much nicer & @ 64BN is the tied for highest graded (with 1 RB). It’s a very tough date with only 6 examples in the PCGS pop.
Re: THE ~ Never Ending ~ Indian Head Cent ~ Thread!
I upgraded many of my CN’s, including this one:

With apologies, I neglected to take slab pics. It’s a MS67; pop 7/0. I intend to obtain the EEPS @ the upcoming Central States show next month.
Trade Dollar, Thoughts and Opinions?
Since there have been a couple of recent threads on trade dollars, I thought I’d post one of mine for the forum’s thoughts.
I generally avoid raw trade dollars, but this one looked pretty honest and was priced very reasonably to me from a dealer I know, about 8 years ago.
Thoughts on grade, genuine, and variety to check for are welcome.
There is a light bluish tone on the obverse when tilted in the light which adds to the attractiveness, imo:

Juicy Mays Monte.
Snagged this Cherry Bomb off auction recently for $444.

Re: Anyone want to share their new purchases?
This 1885 IHC has deep luster and a rosie red and magenta obverse with an incredibly red reverse. In hand, the surfaces are nearly mark free. All the annoying scratches are on the holder.

Tough early Lincoln:

The S mint Lincoln cents of the later teens & early-mid twenties are notorious for their poor strikes & other issues. This coin is a notable exception, with only very slight strike weakness in the upper left rev quadrant. Exceptional eye appeal & color, too, along with the CAC add.
