Re: The official Philadelphia Eagles 2024 season thread - parade map to be included
A small number of quarterbacks are like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen who seem to be made of rubber. Those two can run around can run around like show ponies. The rest will end up injured eventually, sometimes with career ending problems.
Coaches who expect their quarterbacks to do much more than scramble when they have to do it, are flirting with disaster. If Hurts is down, the Eagles’ season is over.

A bit off the subject...I have a double eagle slabbed in an NGC holder.
Didn't notice a crack on the side of the slab when I sent the the coin to CAC. The coin received a green sticker.
In the past in a similar situation, I sent the coin to the grading company to get reholdered and then sent the coin to CAC To get restickered.
Forgetting costs.... (probably an $8000 coin) etc.... Am i better off going the same route with this coin or sending the coin to CACG to be regraded (prob will not improve on the grade).
TY
I see no benefit in going through the hassle and spending the time to send it back to NGC to get reholdered, at which pointy then have to send it back for sticking. While CACG might not prevail over PCAC at this time, It certainly wouldn't sell for less than NGC CAC (excluding the early fatties). The turnaround time is quick, and you just have to send the coin to one location one time, then you're good to go. If Anything, the clear plastic and better optical clarity will make the coin look much nicer, and you'll get great photos!
Re: CACG Slabs (how are they shaking out in the market price wise ?)
I have listed and sold a handful of CACG coins. They seem to be a tougher sale than PCGS CAC stickered coins. I don't have enough sample size but I think they are selling for between PCGS and PCGS+CAC sticker pricing. They do seem to take longer to sell as I think there are fewer collectors wanting them.
Re: 2024 college football thread
@Basebal21 and @Bullsitter, we get it that you two are upset that Alabama was left out. You should console yourselves with two things: enjoying the upcoming ReliaQuest Bowl where the 'Tide should punch Michigan in the mouth --- and --- realizing that the SEC has a really good shot at playing in and winning the Championship Game.
But for pity sake, get over the Alabama thing.

DeVonta Smith with a game-losing dropseems like every time something like that happens, there's always repercussions. a player rarely makes an egregious mistake like that and the team lives to tell the tale
You're right. But I'm more infuriated about the Hurts injury. I mean the Eagles had the lead, moving the ball well both rushing and passing, and Sirianni in all his "brilliance", calls a designed run play for Hurts. Just stupidity beyond belief.
There is always risk of QB injury especially calling a play like that right up the middle. Okay maybe ya risk it with the game on the line, if ya don't have a Saquon Barkley on the team. But never in a million years in that situation. There was some other chit in the game as well.
Is Rich Kotite available? 😒
It's a thing
These Coaches are honestly stupid, I watch Josh Allen run up the middle for a physical 4 yard run while they are in a un losable game, it's mind boggling
And if they're asked in a nice way by a reporter, how they can be so stupid. The coach usually looks like a deer in headlights, and gives some sort of word salad answer, or sometimes basically no answer at all.
And sometimes they have the audacity to look at the reporter like they are an idiot for asking such a "Stupid" question lol
It's honestly ridiculous, Belichick used to keep Brady in long after a rampage was well. underway in the 4th quarter, it used to infuriated me
I recall those games whereby the Patriots blew out the opponent. Had it completely won during the 4th quarter, and yet Belichick would still leave him in there. Simply baffling.
It's not like Brady needed the work or something. Brady had the finest work ethic of probably any other QB in NFL history.
Case in point
Gronk breaking his forearm in a already won playoff game before the Super Bowl because he was on special teams FG unit.
I could go on as you know, Coaches are their own worst enemy

Re: The oldest coin from a CoinStar
That's a great find, Brian! 184 years old...
Didn't someone on here find an ancient coin in the reject slot once?
And who can forget Ricko finding that W quarter after looking for so long?
The Coinstar provides endless fun and anticipation in an otherwise mundane trip to the grocery store 😆
P.S. You gotta put that dime in a 2x2 and write the date on it so she'll always remember.
