I don't. Designer's initials are out of place and too big. Why can't those initials (CAC) go on that ledge at the base of LIBERTY'S neck? It's like the designer is getting as much stage as the design. It's totally inappropriate, in my opinion.
@winesteven You know in real life that coin is not that big. It is much, much smaller in person.
Actually, I think it's much much larger in person. Weighs far more and is much thicker.
We must continue to agree to disagree.
Or you could disagree to disagree.
I believe you think you are correct.
Or did your head explode at the thought?
I believe you think you are making a humorous post.
I think maybe you need some space at this point!

Pick a side.
Don't dillydally. It's like water. Solid. Liquid. Steam.
It can't be all three at once. So, is a man a human being? Or is he a man? He can't be both.
Distributions are represented by functions. It is, in fact, both.
A human can be a man. A Woman.
But he can't be both.Common sense @jmlanzaf
Why are you being so contentious?
That is unlike you.Argument:
"Can jmlanzaf be both right and not right at the same time"?Google "intersex".
And have the FBI at my doorstep?
No, I don't think I will.

Re: How do you think the controversies around 2026 coin design are likey to affect collector value?
Some average citizens will notice the dime and set aside one or two. The quarter will blend into the dozens of different designs. The half will never be seen by the average person.
Re: ANACS Washington Quarter Set
Those S-mint WQs from 1946 through 1955 can come with amazing luster. This is especially true, in my experiences, for the coins from 1951-1954. Even with the luster, many appear to have been struck in oatmeal, but they look awesome.

Re: Saturday morning coffee with coins
@EastonCollection Now that is a strange twist!
A few us were on text this morning, and I guess I had made a comment about one of them possibly being to sane for us sometime about a year ago. I have since changed my mind and realizes he fits just fine, if not even helps fuel the craziness.
You, my friend, fit right into that insanity as well! ![]()
Love it! ![]()

Hi Mike. I bought that GC MS65RD finest known 1983 cent maybe 18 months ago. With all the questionable coins out there in company holders these days, I think that 1983 “transitional” is still a great coin and still finest known by a wide margin?Wondercoin.
That's a great coin--the few I've handled were not as pretty (AU or lower unc.) I've not seen one nicer than yours.
Re: It's 2026 ... show your coins from 100 or 200 years ago
@Hiker65 nice coin and nice first post on the forum
Re: The 2026 Silver Proof Set is a potential winner

Right now a subscription is like getting a lotto ticket for free that you can tear up before delivery if the numbers don't match.
PS We will know the numbers just prior to the mint releasing the product. That is when the subscribers should decide what to do.
Thank you very much for starting this thread way back on January 8. This is one of the 2026 mint products
I am interested in.
Now that a revised sales date of June 11 has been posted, hopefully we can concentrate on “the numbers”.
Right now subscriptions are unavailable, how many have already been subscribed is unknown,
and the ATS number is 9240.
It looks like silver proof sets have been sold,d to the ABPP buyers at a 5% premium in the past.
Will we know in mid to late May if and how many will be made available to them?
At a 151K or less, these sets could be in high demand for crack-outs and individual slabs.
Thanks!

Dirac Delta Distribution sounds better, unit impulse is funny.

Too annoying to work with.
