This is exactly the same obverse J. Cline used on his tokens not terribly long before he passed. Patrick Mint comes to mind.

If you’re looking for the least expensive, I’d probably shop the P mint dates from the early 1940’s.
The 36P is another choice, if you want something slightly tougher. The 34S is also usually well struck, but pricier.
If you want an early date showing the original design, the 16P and D are good choices.

Boy, they sure are close, but look at the "morse code" inner border on the left side of each, especially above the top pf the wall. It seems to be connected to the rim on the Cosgrove piece, but not on the Cline piece.

That said, I could see both dies as having been made from the same hub used by a token manufacturer. Cline might have found an old, second obverse die and used it for his modern tokens.

I acquired some coins in 2024 that I like and also had some raw coins graded in 2024.

However, after reading this thread and seeing the amazing coins presented therein,................ I have decided to not post photos of any of the coins I acquired and/or had graded in 2024. They simply do not belong in a thread as cool as this one.

I really am attracted to the Koban shown by Lermish, the medal posted in the opening post of Mr_Columbo, the 1907 AU58+ Indian posted by Mr. Spud and the PANPAC 1$ posted by Mirabela.

The westerner collectors are very much ignored . I don't travel cross country to such shows anymore . I can use the money to buy at the many online auctions and get great coins. The ANA WFOM this year in Oklahoma city may bring in some westerners . We will see?

Everyone I've spoken to, from anywhere in the country, is unhappy about OKC. I won't be going.

I probably won't go to IMEX either but will be a lot more likely (even coming from the west coast) because there are direct flights. And Nashville is a lot more interesting of a city to visit than OKC.

As 38-D Buffalo Nickels and BU Mercury Dimes being candidates for CAC gold stickers, what about some "MS65" blue Ikes in rattler holders?
