Confirmation of a counterfeit, please ('75-CC 20c)

I think they could have done a lot better. I'd like something I can point to in the event that the seller challenges my assertions of it being fake.

you could always tell the seller, "this is a fake, because, well, you know it is a fake?"

<< <i>Looks awful in all aspects. Looks cast to me. Whatever you do don't buy the thing. Its gross as hades. >>
I already bought it, it was on eBay for a little over 200 (From somebody who never sells coins) with crap pics. 14 day return, I just got it about an hour ago and already printed the return mailing label, ha. >>
So you paid a little over 10,000% over market, based on crappy pictures.

Hey, if it was real, we're looking at a nice VF coin, which prices out well above 200, no? I gambled and lost... except my only loss is the time it took to open, examine, laugh, photograph and post this since seller is paying return shipping. You miss 100% of the shots you never take. >>
Feel free to gamble. My time involved in opening the package, laughing, notifying the seller of a return, and repackaging is worth more than the difference between what you paid and the value of a real VF with no problems. Soon enough you'll run in to someone that will make your time worth even less.
Gotta give ya props for sharing a FAIL though. Most gamblers only wanna boast about their rips/scores while conveniently forgetting about the losers.

Yep, that sounds about right ... and their obverse die cracked in the process! There are no known 75-CC double dimes with an obverse die crack above the shield as in this example.
See http://www.doubledimes.com for a free online reference for US twenty-cent pieces
which is why it looks so different from the fields and devices around it. Pretty good images, by the way.
