Happened yesterday in Minden NV at Northern Nevada Coins. Was some random accident, being near a jail and the Sheriff's office there were plenty of responders.

Fixed.
The name is LEE!
The video looks like there were two attempts at getting in?
Hopefully, there will be some follow up to this story.
The name is LEE!
The lady walking through the danger zone - not a good idea.
The guy in the white sweatshirt going for the gun - good idea. Personally I would have gone for the sawed off shotgun rather than a pistol, but right idea.
In cases of unintended acceleration, drivers sometimes persist in pushing the wrong pedal, the harder they try to stop, the faster they go.

Minden woman arrested after allegedly ramming car into Northern Nevada Coin
UPDATE: A 74-year-old woman has been arrested and faces felony and misdemeanor charges after allegedly driving drunk and ramming her car into Northern Nevada Coin late Thursday afternoon in Minden, a Douglas County sheriff's sergeant said.
Cheryl Smith, 74, of Minden was booked into Douglas County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, assault with a deadly weapon and felony destruction of property. Bail was posted Friday morning at $31,509.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday, The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the East Fork Fire and Paramedic District were called to the coin store located at 1621 Hwy 395.
Initial reports indicated that the incident could be an armed takeover of the gold and coin store. This turned out to be false. The motive is unclear, however, Smith allegedly used her white Pontiac Grand Am to ram her way into the building, said Douglas County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Pat Brooks.
Witnesses stated that Smith hit the building approximately three times before breaching the brick building and driving her vehicle into the center of the store. The wall collapsed as the vehicle entered the building, preventing her from backing out of the store.
At the time of the incident, approximately six employees of the gold and coin store were inside the building. No one was injured during this incident; however Smith was transported to the medical center for evaluation.
The extent of damage to the building is substantial and the cost to repair the building is unknown at this time.

<< <i>Maybe she thought it was the Carson City mint, not far away.

Bet she pleads not guilty and claims she thought it was handicapped parking. Then she will win a lawsuit against the city for not marking it more clearly.

<< <i>Sorry Bob, that post is useless w/o pix!! >>
Kaz is right, but damn, I believe your story!
The fellow in the white shirt did the right thing by pulling the handgun, and he showed incredible restraint. He did a fantastic job by not firing unnecessarily.
I am sure that I would have interpreted the ramming of the wall three times as a robbery attempt, and I would likely be in jail for pulling the trigger multiple times with precise aim. Glad everyone is okay after this scary event. Wow!
Perhaps white shirt guy can sign a release to use this in a shoot/no shoot video.
<< <i>That'll get her a few years in prison, might die behind bars. >>
might as well, the jail is right around the corner or something.

I am pretty sure that you wouldn't go to jail for opening fire on somebody who just drove through a wall to destroy your store, provided they were still in the car and attempting to maneuver it. That's an active and present threat to your life. >>
Don't be so sure. Especially in certain cities.
