Re: Would anybody like a $20 coin for $560?
This buyer has spent 9 GRAND on Ebay in the last 30 days. Check it out. I like the $252 1926 S Merc Dime in AU? Can you imagine the treasures that any of us could have gotten with that 9 GRAND instead of a box full of mystery junk. This buyer does not, nor could they ever have worked too hard for their money. -

Re: What is the rarest coin you own?
If I go strictly by pop reports it would have to be the 1909-S Half Eagle. PCGS has only graded 252 in all grades but 297,200 were minted. If I go by mintage then it is the 1909-O Half Eagle where 34,200 were minted and PCGS has graded 435. If I go general then most any coin in my Half Eagle set with a mint mark is scarce. -

Re: Eagles
Indian Head (1907-1933) Augustus Saint-Gaudens, considered by many the greatest of (ha ha laura, get this) MODERN sculptors, introduced a new high standard of art in the United States coins evidenced by his eagle and double eagle types of 1907. reference : 2007 Red Book page 252 Okay, my opinion is: this series just does… -

Well I can't believe I actually won this auction after some guy bid it from $50 to $240 in the last couple hours. Had to pay 2.5x SMR, but I have never seen this card in this grade before; even though the pop report states there are 18 of them graded 8 (but none higher). ebay 5100723343. I was curious if anyone who follows… -
Re: The series' of various card sets
1951 Bowman is broken out into 1-252 and a high-number series of 253-324. 1953 Bowman B/W is a single 64-card series. 1955 Topps is broken out into 1-160 and a "high" series of 161-210 which is more difficult to find. Cards 175, 186, 203 and 209 were never issued which caused cards 170, 172, 184 and 188 to be double… -
Re: Heritage Auction archive remains unreliable
I can confirm that the IT department has been working on improving the speed of the auction archives searches, as well as the whole site. However, we are not making these changes at the expense of accuracy. Our goal is both improved speed and accuracy. If anyone experiences problems with the archives, please report them to… -
Re: Yankee Fans are the Best Fans in the World -- Unless you are in a slump, of course
<< <i> As if Arod would give a crap about you or your life. Why do you care that he gets booed ? >> Because you yankee 'fans' are the crazy ones, not Arod. He's obviously doing SOMETHING right, being the highest paid player in sports history, $252 million? If making that kind of coin meant I needed to see a shrink every… -
