Re: What numismatic blunder do you regret?
The $160 so called dollar bought two weeks ago Monday on ebay that hasn't arrived and haven't heard a word from the AH. I hear you. I'm currently waiting out a $2000 coin that I sent a check on nearly 4 weeks ago. Have heard nothing and beginning to think I finally got my first ebay shaft job. At this point I'm gonna… -
Re: Poll: Would you ever consider buying a coin on EBAY with a "no return" policy?

As it stands right now, with 106 votes in, 80% of you WOULD buy a coin with no returns under the right circumstances. FYI, I would also buy a coin under those conditions as well, and have done so in the past. By the way, a "no return" policy doesnt not automatically make the seller a scammer or garbage slinger. As Russ… -
Re: Nightmare Shipping Scenario...What Am I Missing?
I live in a small town, and get along good with the PO workers. If I had concerns and this were me, I'd have the Postmaster witness my placing the coin in the envelope. Maybe even have it scanned on PO stationery. Then if this sort of claim is made, the scammer will be talking to a Postal inspector. Airplanenut (Jeremy),… -
Re: NON-HOFers and Collector Value

<< <i>Here's an update: "Bill" told people on this board to "not be fooled by the new people". "Bill" misrepresented/lied about who I am/positions I have took in order to make everyone hate me right off the bat. "Bill" has accused me of being unethical/scammer/lacking morality despite my 100% feedback (will be corrected… -
Re: What do you think should be done with altered cards?
<< <i>It's even a more interesting dilemma when you don't agree with PSA. If you don't believe that the cards were actually trimmed, I really can't see you having to disclose to a third party that PSA thought they were... " Great suggestion, transparent. We'll do the "old in-out" to the unsuspecting buyer just like Alex… -
Re: HUGE eBay feedback policy change.
<< <i>I say nothing will be right until they untie the hands of sellers to leave honest feedback >> I never see that happening due to the retaliatory negative scammers. The retaliatory negative was the paramount tool of every bait and switch, every “you can’t see the coins” & “stock photos” scam auction Ebay had. It was… -
Re: check out my purchase.. I am pumped.. ( NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE ) PSA HAS SPOKEN
<<< Stevek I'm surprised that you of all people did not think the seller of that ball was a weasel or at the very least thought it was legit without a COA, you are slipping, the Phillies winning all these WS games has made you soft. >>> Geez Steve - WTF is with you and Nam? - I took a quick look at it the other day, and… -
Re: Just Listed 4 #1 Registered Sets on the Bay !!!!!
Guy's I don't know if an unopened pack exists and with this Scammer climate nowdays wouldn't believe it anyway and no way to verify it cause I don't trust GAI and how would PSA know anything about that issues (Mars Attacks) unopened, having never seen one. I sold both of my wrappers a few years back, one for 1K and the… -
Re: Better hope I do not find out who this is...
Lol, Such hostility how can you get so bent out of shape when you've screwed so many people do you not expect karma to catch up with you once in a while.I may have been the only one posting openly about your ripping me but I had a few pm's from folks saying you scammed them as well.I dont see how you expect to advertise… -
Re: What's this? eBay'er poaching winning auctions!
<< <i>that scenario doesn't make much sense to me. if the price is so good and you're watching it end then why not just bid on it and have a little security? >> I'll use an extreme scenario to illustrate the point. Let's say the item something that normally goes for $100. For whatever reason (bad or misspelled title, wrong…
