Re: HOF veterans committee ballot! It is packed with star power and will be interesting....
Apparently you can't read, or just like to argue, either of which is ok. Let's forget about an already admitted throw away comment about Harold Baines. Let's forget about "Catfish" Hunter and Rik Aalbert Blyleven. Let's actually look at some more real numbers of the two players in question; Total Bases. Mattingly 388, 370,… -

Re: 1961 Bob Clemente
The rule of thumb is that a PSA 8OC will generally sell between the straight 6 & 7 prices. Since a '61 Clemente books at $75 in PSA 6 and $120 in PSA 7, it looks like you made a good buy. However, the straight 7 rarely reaches the book price. I own one and have tracked closed eBay auctions since October of 2005 and the… -
Re: Could non-MS coins be graded by weight alone?
It has been suggested before and it can't be done. The tolerance allowance in the weight of the coins is large enough that you could wear a proper weight coin down to nearly VG before you get out of the tolerance range. And what if the coins original weight was ABOVE the standard? You coulld wear it down to say F to VF and… -

Deleting cards from The Registry is depressing
I have been selling off my #1 All Time Receivers Set and have been deleting the cards as I sell them. I have found that it makes me feel depressed everytime I delete a card. I want to sell the cards and I also want to keep them. I guess we do get emotional about our cards. If anyone is interested I still have the… -
WTB: 1977 and 1979 Topps PSA 8/9 Cards
Hi, I still need the following 1977 and 1979 cards in PSA 8 or PSA 9, and I'm willing to pay 10% above average VCP. I prefer 8's in order to save some dough, but cheap 9's (VCP of $12.00 or less) work just as well. I have no desire to purchase PSA 9's of Lavelle in '77 or Brye, Skaggs, Phillips, Lemongello, Swan, Mets…
