It was coins and I got pretty good at it. I just think the scammers have got better at it. I used to be able to tell and could spot a fake but there are more of them now. It's been 15 years since I done this. -

Let's hope you get it. The past few gold items that I won under spot, I never received. Since PM prices have been up, I have noticed more and more scammers on ebay. -

In general I concur with your advice. That said, some of the biggest scammers I've run into are also extremely smooth talkers, and I would, personally, speak with references with as much or more vigor if there were any concern on my part. -

It's nice to hear of pleasant experiences on the BST board. There are a lot of very honest sellers there, but you always have to keep an eye out for the scammers. By the way, I don't see this as off topic, if you bought a coin and are happy with it, it's on topic! -

Yes, I do report them in the hope that something may be done. Don't play games with the scammers, they may well be setting you up. Remember who you are dealing with. Their goal is to scam you any way they can. -

I emailed this seller and asked if I could stop by and view the boxes, I live about 5 miles from him. His response, "We do not allow local pickup" I guess that says it all Scammer
