1824/2 Dime, Variety JR-2
There are only 2 varieties for this year: JR-1 and Jr-2. Both share the same obverse. The reverse in JR-2 is different from JR-1 in that the top of the 1 is pointed. Pitcher can go 4 and 2/3rds even get 2 strikes on the third batter and the reliever throws one pitch and not only does he get the K but the win as well is just stupid. Based on the curved shape of the third digit I would eliminate 1, 4, 5 & 7. Then I'd consider what are rounded at the top, 2, 3, 6, 8 & 9 Then knowing that cobs at Guatemala run from 1733 thru 1753, to the best of my knowledge, I would then eliminate the 2, 6, 8, & 9.
