Bust Dime Die Marriage Collection - 2 new additions!
Acquired 2 more Bust Dimes for my collection. One new die marriage and the other is a slight upgrade. It's a die chip, resulting in a filled '2'. These are very common, and are often sold as 3/2 overdates. A genuine overdate will have a clear 3, with remnants of the 2 underneath, usually to the left of the 3 (there are 6 known overdate dies, IIRC). -
1972 P TYPE # 2 .....
I went to the charlotte, nc show on 9-11-2004 and found a high grade 1972-P Type # 2 , and bought it for $ 50.00. also, a 1972-D peg leg. they are still out there !! however, i must admit they are becoming very, very difficult to find. i suspect that the majority of 1972-P Type # 2 ikes that will be certified in the future… -
