The sad part is like a 2 edged sword. 1) is that the seller(s) know that the coins are fake but rely on 2) the buyers greed in thinking that they are going to buy a several thousand dollar coin for under a $100.00 bucks. I used to use metal snips to cut them out. Ngc and pcgs would hold the coin securely, but I was cutting a $2 1/2 gold Indian out of a no name holder once and the coin slipped out of the prongs and I literally cut it almost into two pieces. Made me sick. It was a pretty decent coin too, even coming from a basement brand… -
