Re: You can't have it both ways
There is a significant difference between doctoring and conserving! Dipping a coin does less harm than many here would like to believe and to dip or not dip is a question of relevance. Dipping a crusty circulated coin is just plain stupid however popping a modern uncirculated coin in a preventative dip is not. I have no… -

Re: What is the Allure?
I have a friend who collects only coins with milk spots ... What is the allure? That’s the wrong question - the real question is why are you all so crazy? Because collecting coins is not rational - we are all a little nuts to spend this much time and money on coins - and they answer? We are all just a little crazy 😄 -

Re: Overheard at Superior Lot Viewing: "Do you think this is worth lasering?"
<< <i>I sort of wonder how all these "colorized" coin people get away with the colorizing, myself (speaking of the painted coins, but then, it could apply to the AT ones, too). >> Those people usually don't try to pass off colored coins for something they are not. Also I doubt they colorize ASE's to hide those unattractive… -
