buffalo help - is this a 1935 DDR? the lesser 1 not the big 1.

A couple of new photo's that may help. Hello, I was going through some new purchases the shop made at a recent show and found this. Looks like the FS-803 And is this worth crossing over and getting attribution on it. It is now a ngc ms64. Sorry for the images could be better but they show what I am seeing. -

I am inclined to say no also, but I admit I am not at all familiar with the variety. The red flag to me is the image you posted of E PLURIBUS UNUM; you should not see doubling on the bottom of the E and the top of the R, it should be in the same general direction on all lettering. If by the "lesser" one you mean the FS-803, then no. The most impressive feature of that variety is the circular die scratches pretty much all over the reverse. This excellent example sold at a Bowers & Merena auction in November 2010. They provided an excellent image. You also can see the die doubling on most of the… -
