1986 Proof 70 ASE to TPG or not to TPG?
If you had an absolutely pristine 1986 Proof ASE, would you send it in? It is still in the US Mint capsule. I did contact PCGS about 2 months ago, and they did say they accept them. I asked about milk spotting, and the customer service rep said she believed the1986 was not as likely to milk spot, but was not 100% certain… -

To go against what some other posters say I have done many submissions of one coin that has come back a 70. If it is truly a 70 there is a good chance that is what it will come back as. For milk spotting I don't think it has much to do with the slab. Most likely being exposed to the air between your house and PCGS will get…
