As a Texas Longhorns alum, I am happy to see the team in the College Football Playoff, hosting a game vs the Clemson Tigers, that I will get to watch in person. How is this paper money related? Supposedly Clemson fans have a tradition of putting their orange pawprint logo on $2 bills, and then spending them in the cities… -

To add to what member @element159 mentioned, Clemson wants to show its economic impact on an area when it comes to town. It accomplishes this by using the stamped $2 notes at restaurants, local shops and in general commerce during their visit. -
