Has anybody tried to make a milk spotted SAE uniform white?

I was just thinking, you know how sometimes the milk spots grow big and look like porcelain? What if, since the coin is ruined anyway, you could make the entire coin a uniform white color that looked like porcelain? Has anybody deliberately turned the entire coin surface into a uniform white giant milk spot? If I google… -
Re: The myth of milk spotting.
I think there is a general misunderstanding as to what a milk spot looks like. I once thought they were the white milky blotches so common on ASEs. It turns out, this is from improper cleaning. I have an ASE that I got from Becoka. It has a darkish spot on it. It looks like a hole has been drilled into the coin. It is a… -

Milk Spots on coins...
Where do the milk spots on proof coins come from? Does anyone have any experience getting milk spots off of proof coins? I did try a dip on a test coin, a 1961 PCGS PR65 Franklin Half. The coin did lose the heavy green milk spots but some remnants of the spots are still there. Do these milk spots eat the surface of the… -

Non of my Commemortives have milk spots either and… -
Can Someone explain an MS-70 coin with blemishes and milk spots?
As a newbie still learning- I was looking at an auction yesterday with a PCGS MS-70 label- it's an American eagle Coin- that has some significant milk spots on it and on the reverse a portion of the Mirror is milky. How does a Coin like that get a MS-70 grade? I thought "70" was perfection, and this Coin obviously isn't… -
Milk spot question.
I've been collecting proof cameo coinage from the '50's and '60's for literally decades, so I'm pretty well up on milk spotting. However, something happened to me recently that I haven't seen happen before, and I'd like your thoughts on the issue. I've owned an NGC PR67UCAM 1958 Franklin for 5ish years. I knew that… -
Milk spots and die damage on RP ASE's

I received ten of the 20th anniversary ASE sets and so far 6 of them have milk spots and die damage. When I first imaged them I thought the spots were on the plastic capsule and didn't notice the die damage. Upon closer inspection after taking the top of the capsule off I see several have what I would call severe milk…
