copper collectors -- how about this 1853 half cent?
Hunting while on vacation in Kansas turned up this copper, the best I could find in terms of original surfaces. Comments on the grade appreciated. I don't know which AU to call it, 55 or 58 (but not 53 I think) (won't be slabbing it either). When I bought it, I couldn't see anything negative about it. Later, grime… -

Re: Is the spotting problem with Silver Eagles,,,,,,,
I don't normally do much with ASEs but I bought a 2021 graded MS70 in Feb. I wanted it with the 35th anniversary label that was offered in the quarterly special. Re: What's the biggest financial homerun you have made in numismatics?
Well it WAS my 20th Anniversary ASE's until they developed milk spots and then my home run hit drifted to the left of the foul line and that was that...back to the dugout! Boy was I excited when those were selling for several hundred percent over what I bought them from the Mint for! Oh well...if I squint when I look at… -

Re: What do you think of Ebay listings concerning PCGS genuine slabs?
<< <i>...but there is no requirement to state any information other than on the slab label. >> There is a requirement for ebay coin listings that states "Include all relevant information that you know about the item, such as origin, date of issue, and condition." Ebay stamps, currency and coins policy It's not a matter of…
