Unless the individual coins are exceptionally nice you are probably wasting your money by sending them in to be slabbed. If they have any "milk" spots, carbon spots/specks/flecks, hairlines or if they don't have good mirrors don't bother. That's my opinion. I think far too many marginal coins are being submitted for… -

Sticker mill? Really? It is OK to return them for sure, as wisely stated, it is an indication of grade not that everyone will like it. Take Gold coins. CAC loved copper spots, and I understand why. The scream original. But many collectors do not like them. And all of that is fine. But, the connotation of "mill" would mean… -

PCGS Restoration
So I have a Proof Quarter in PR67DCAM. The coin does not have a lot of hairlines, but does have a couple of small milk spots. If the spots were not there I feel like the coin would grade a 68. Has anyone sent a coin into PCGS for restoration for this type of issue and have the coin upgrade one or more grades. Thanks… -
