I have a few PCGS coins that have 'grown' some milk spots since I first purchased them. If I send them to PCGS, will they: a) automatically dip them b) automatically replace the coins c) automatically send a check d) none of the above e) fill in the blank ____________________ -

On the numismatic pucks, there has been a great reduction of milk spots received fresh from the mint. The ones I've spotted have been small. There are also what I call chocolate milk spots. I recently sent coins in to PCGS to have Milk spots removed from the 20th anniversary silver reverse proof(2) and MS uncirculated coin(1). They offered me fair market value for the coins and I took it. How long does it generally take for them to send you your money? -

This is also a problem with 40% Silver Clad IKEs. I submitted one in July of this year and do not recall if I stabilized it but, that sucker has milk spots on it today. I know that I would not have submitted a milk spotted coin for grading! Dang! -
A Franklin can grade PR67 w/ this many milk spots?!?
I wouldn't even consider having a coin like this graded. But maybe I am missing the boat? milk spot city -

Possible solution to the SAE milk spot problem.
Hi Ron, I submit mostly proofs from the late 50's and early 60's. When I first started submitting some, but not all, of the coins would later develop milk spots. Might be six months, might be a year, but some were VERY bad. I reasoned that there must be some form of contaminants on the coins that doesn't begin to spot up… -

2009 Lincoln Log Cabin Cents Milk Spots
I bought a $25 box of rolls of 2009 Lincoln Log Cabin Cents and it seems like a lot of the coins have little milk spots on them. Is this common for these cents? What is the max grade a coin can get if it has a very tiny milkspot on it with virtually no contact marks?
