Morganhunter - give 'em a quick dip in a weak dilluted ez-est solution and then rinse, then dip in acetone and air dry. This will neutralize the surfaces so as to prevent milk spotting in the future. You just got 'em out of the mint packaging, and they have been known to spot after being freed from their celophane… -

4Redisin. The Full Bell Lines designation on Franklin half dollars is given only to circulation strikes. Proof Franklins do not receive that designation because all of these proof coins have fully struck bell lines. copper collectors -- how about this 1853 half cent?
Hunting while on vacation in Kansas turned up this copper, the best I could find in terms of original surfaces. Comments on the grade appreciated.
