Kennedy graders - help with this one
I just purchased this coin in a old label PCGS holder. It is a nice AH Kennedy. I believe it will upgrade substantially from it's current grade. It has a few milk spots that conservation will remove. Assume for the purpose of your estimate that the spots are gone and please give me your honest assesment of your grading… -
Re: The OFFICIAL BST Bargain Bin! September 2008

These are all also rans, almost were's and wasn't quite's from various PCGS submissions over the last couple of years. I don't have pictures for most of these, but if you really want to see a coin before you buy I can take a quick shot for you. Otherwise, you can safely assume that when I submitted these coins, I felt the… -
Re: New Commem - Grade opinions? GRADE IN
<< <i>---Disappointing, I think they were questioning some milky, hazy spots on the coin. ---Nice. Looks like a easy 65 imo. ---Very pretty colors on a very cool design. ---With SO much lustre it's hard to tell! Nice coin..................MJ judging only from the pictures it has the "look" of a coin that's been… -

Re: what is this on marsh-billings-rockefeller 2020 5 oz unc?
that's the thing. the mint is watching returns now. in the past i would have said return it for exchange. looking at the second extreme closeup, I see dimples in that cavity. I'd guess whatever it is, that it was there before blasting it. unsure of what caused that. these come with brown spots I call chocolate milk spots.… -
Re: Dedicated to all those 2007-W ASE Unc PCGS MS69 First Striker's

Ok, GB, you have some of my sympathy now I would suggest just a 5x or 10x loupe (which is sounds like you have anyway) and to really tilt the coin in the light while looking at it. They have knocked a few of mine down, in the past, for imaginary "spots" in the skirt (not milk spots btw) that are almost impossible to see 99… -
Re: What do you have in the Dansco 7070 Commemorative slots?
I just finished the commem half section with a Columbian, Stone Mountain, Oregon Trail, and Booker T. Washington. As for the dollar slot, I will not place a Proof coin in there since I don't like the way Dansco albums treat Proof coins (instead of golden or yellow toning, I generally get ugly milkiness and spotting on… -
