Re: Edges on this Nolan Ryan PSA 10 up for auction right now?
No 10 should have an edge like that. If the cert photos show those edges then maybe it was damaged by PSA during encapsulation. I've been passing on many PSA 10 cards recently and have seen the cards I've passed on were less than some BGS 9.5. Not often have I seen that and I wonder if it's becoming common knowledge that… -

Conder101 - Here is a list compiled by an associate of mine which you may find useful in your endevors. Regards. JT 1. Re: Really dumb questions regarding PMG & PCGS turnaround times
In my experience, PMG is slower than the specified assumed dates. Express is at least 7-8 working days. As Steve mentioned, it is contingent on the workload they have with auctions, etc. Honestly, PMG tends to rush through & the quality isn't as high as before. They overlook edge tears, splits. Very few notes get NET… -
Re: Recent harsh grading-Options
**> eta: then take into account the cards are doomed to this graded crackdown forever w not being able to crack and resub and it's a serious, undisclosed issue. Here is what will happen IMO. One of Beckett/SGC/HGA/CSG/GMA will get close enough in value to a PSA valuation generally and they will get flooded with crack and… -

Counterfeit $1,000 FRNs
In the March 21 Coin World there is an article titled, "Grading firm warns of fake notes". Wherein CGA declines to grade bleached 1934A $1,000 FRN. As part of the reasons for refusing to grade the suspect FRN, CGAs president, Jess Lipka states that he could not recall any $1,000 small-size FRN with a plate number of "7".… -

Re: gold futures top $900
>> Well best take a lesson from 79/80 there's a lot of gold that will simply be the spot price as gold rises, the more it rises the more coins that will fall into this area. If you have an MS65 or MS64 classic they'll go up but anything below MS63 will be spot. Will the old hags in MS/PF 70 be above spot? Maybe, but I… -
Re: What are your plans regarding PCGS/PMG graded currencies ?
Awesome notes, even without the PPQ notation. I've re-holdered CGA & PCGS notes to PMG. CGA notes routinely came back two grades lower, with PCGS notes a lot have come back one grade lower. Close inspection before sending in, you can usually spot the reason. Routinely its the margins, which, in MHO, tells me PCGS didn't… -
