To be fair to cac, I think it was the first silver eagle that did have an obvious milk spot on Liberty’s dress. But I agree that the submitting dealer should be going out of business in the very near future. Clearly that person has no clue what they’re doing regarding submitting coins or knowing how to grade. what time frame for this grade for this coin?
PCGS won't give the recent 2006-W ASE an MS70 grade, what if all the recent 2006-W's are milk-spot free after a year or three? might that change? Loaded -

Mine was a silver eagle I got for joining at the silver membership level. I think it says “collectors club sample” or something similar. It has milk spots ALL over it, kind of ironic I guess. -

If you are referring to the milk spot problems, the US Mint is not alone with that issue along with Copper bleeding in 90%+ Gold coins. No one has found the perfect solution to eliminate those problems. Perhaps you can. -

I'd say the PCGS would bring more money I'm thinking I read somewhere it has to do with the possibility of milk spots forming on the Silver Eagles that keep them out of PCGS plastic at PF70. -

Plus with slabbed SEs you get the added excitement of not knowing what they will look like in a few years. :p Is it an immortal beauty or is it a ticking time bomb? :o Got milk (spots)? Only time will tell. ;) -

I have not heard of any yet, and I peruse the U.S. coin forum daily..... However, milk spots usually take a while to manifest. I recommend an acetone bath prior to storage. Cheers, RickO
