PGCS and acetone specifically potential spotting in slab
I am debating about a sealed 10ct 2006-W SE I have. I have read here that an acetone rinse can often eliminate or greatly reduce the chance of milk spotting on the SE's. Thinking about long term of preserving the value of the coin Will an acetone-rinsed-only coin get body bagged at PCGS? I am new to coin grading, but… -

I just dispatched 5 millennium sets. 4 ot of 5 ASE's were milk spotted to heck, 1 coin still in the set has a shot at 69 and is going in soon. -

You can get a reflection of the edge of the capsule on proofs. Milk SPOTS are not usually arcs of the same curvature as the capsule. -

it is more than just color changing - any environmental damage that emerges over time is not covered, including milk spots on modern coins. I guess over the years too may people improperly stored PCGS coins in environments that their holders could not protect the coin from fully. So it seems the guarantee only applies if… -

what ever the $$ is, it has been more than equitable, at least for me. just takes a forever and a day from returning the coins to getting a check...or the coins back (which in my case should have been ALL been bought back). if it's anything ASE take the money and pray that the proofs or RP's you sent in can't be "fixed"… -

received my first order of 5 today. 3 out of 5 have a good shot at 70. my other 2: 1- with frost break in shield 1- with what looks like a milk spot smear
